It is generally accepted that furniture which is safe for user’s health should emit formaldehyde less than 0.10 ppm (level of E1 standard).
To be able to advertise that it is a non-toxic particle, adhesive composition must be absolutely formaldehyde-free (better than E0 standard). If it still contains formaldehyde even a little, it cannot be claimed as a non-toxic product. For the E1 European standard particle advertised by SB Furniture, there is formaldehyde emission less than 0.14 ppm. So it cannot be fully claimed as “non-toxic”. But we can say that it is “low-level toxic” which is quite an interesting choice for Thai markets.
